Hostel 99 is a friendly, family-owned hostel in a lovingly-restored 16th century building located in the heart of UNESCO protected Český Krumlov, one of the world’s most preserved medieval cities. We offer a variety of accommodation from dorm rooms with unique atmosphere, to comfortable private doubles, twins and triples.

Hostel 99 is centrally-located within the old town, only a few minutes away from all that Krumlov has to offer. It is the closest hostel to both the train station and the Špičak bus stop, making it a great place to unload your backpack and relax.

Whether you choose to spend your days exploring the city, enjoying some delicious Czech beer in the local pubs, hiking through the surrounding forests, or just hanging out on the hostel terrace or in our friendly Restaurant 99 or cozy Deli 99, Hostel 99 provides you with all you need to fall in love with Krumlov.

Since opening in 2002, Hospoda 99 has become known by travelers and locals alike as one of the best pubs in Český Krumlov.

​

Located in the tastefully-renovated Renaissance structure that is directly adjacent to the hostel, Hospoda 99 is a roomy restaurant and pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Big wooden tables line the rooms and sunny outdoor terrace, original artwork hangs on the walls and a wood-burning fireplace creates a special coziness in wintertime.

Our menu includes a variety of international dishes such as steaks and burgers, Mexican quesadillas and burritos, savory and sweet crepes, as well as a daily offering of homemade Czech specialties.

​

As dedicated beer-lovers, we take the utmost care to serve some of the best Czech beers, including Pilsner Urquell and Bernard fresh from the tap. We also have rotating tap that allows us to showcase seasonal beers, yeast beers and other great specialties from microbreweries. Not a fan of beer? We also have a wide variety of wines, liquors and mixed cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic beers & cocktails, juices, and a great selection of coffees and teas.

Start your day off right with a nice, big cup of coffee, smooth latte, or strong shot of espresso and one of our freshly-baked pastries, bagels, breads, or delicious homemade waffles.

If you are stopping in for lunch, you can choose from a wide variety of sandwiches, paninis and fresh salads, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available. Finish your lunch off with one of our baked goodies or just order a coffee ‘to go’ and you are all set to head out exploring again.

Deli 99 is located just next to the Budějovická Gate, across the street from Hostel 99 and a mere 3 minute walk from the bus stop to/from Prague. Its cheery interior, comfy seating, fresh and tasty food and drink and friendly service make it a great place to have a coffee and bite to eat while you chat with friends, read a newspaper or check your email (free WIFI available). A non-smoking environment.
